At Kalorie ("we", "our", "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Kalorie mobile application and related services (the "Service").
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your date of birth, height, weight, and fitness goals to personalize your experience.
Nutrition Data: Food logs, meal photos, barcode scans, macro and calorie tracking data, and any custom foods you create. This data is stored to provide you with historical tracking and insights.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the Service.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for delivering push notifications and ensuring app compatibility.
Kalorie uses artificial intelligence to recognize foods from photos and provide nutritional guidance. When you use these features:
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit). We use Supabase as our backend provider, with data hosted in SOC 2 Type II certified data centers. We implement access controls, regular security audits, and automated threat detection.
